“ This dinner date turned out to be so nice even though we weren’t planning to eat here. We asked if they had seating and the staff were so friendly. We ate outside and they put a heater next to our table. The food was delicious and the price was reasonable! ”
“ Got recommended by one of my colleagues and recently took a visit for dinner. The place was quite small, and I liked that it didn’t attract a lot of tourists like most places on Hanover street. We came in on a Saturday night, but there were a few empty tables available for walk-ins. From the appetizers, we ordered the meatballs and the baby octopus. Stewed in tomato sauce, white wine, and chili, the baby octopus burst with umami, and I really loved its slightly acidic taste from the wine. From the entrees, my favorite was the duck breast. The combination of spiced carrot puree, fig agrodolce, and grilled scallions went really well with the farro and the fatty pieces of duck breast. It may not be an Italian restaurant specialty, but they certainly did it better than most of the French restaurants I’ve been to in the city. Black pepper carbonara and the bolognese were also good, but they were exactly what I anticipated from a classic Italian place - minimal seasoning and fresh ingredients. Overall, our dinner at Forcella was exceptional. Everything from the food to service was on point, and I would highly recommend giving them a try if you’re looking for a quintessential North End dining experience without a bustling crowd. ”
“ Forcella was amazing- beautiful outdoor patio, live music, delicious food and drinks, incredible atmosphere, and our server David was hilarious and so nice! Couldn’t have imagined a more perfect Italian dinner date in Boston 10/10 recommend!!! ”
“ Sat outside here with my Sister on a beautiful evening. Food was fantastic, as was the bottle of wine our server recommended. The server was very nice but over-sat, they need to get him some additional help. But we were in no rush and had a wonderful time. I thought the price for the quality of the food was fantastic. We started with the muscles which came in this INSANELY good sauce. Will be coming here again next time I’m in Boston to try more of the menu! ”
“ Outstanding restaurant with fantastic authentic food and caring friendly service. Drinks especially the Last Chance were on point. We had an issue with getting a dog sitter and they were able to sit us in a beautiful patio area really facilitating us with a smile every step of the way. Can’t say enough good things about the place. Definitely worth a visit. ”
“ Went here before a Bruins game with a buddy. Sat at the bar because something happened with our reservation, which was fine with us. The bartender Matt was very friendly and engaging. The wine and drinks were great. The appetizers and entrees were delicious and well presented. The place was clean and ambience was pleasant and lively. Overall a great experience. ”
“ Some of the best food I’ve had in the morth end. The chicken parm was delicious and cooked perfectly. The pasta that came with had a vodka sauce base and the texture was soft slightly chewy and creamy, honestly possibly the best pasta I’ve had. Wife got the mushroom risotto and daughter got the pesto pasta with chicken . Both liked their meals. ”
“ The North End is known for its incredible Italian restaurants and there are lots of imposters...this is not one of them. Every item we ordered was so flavorful and absolutely delicious. You can’t go wrong with anything. They have a healthy selection of wines and our waiter recommended an excellent bottle. Very reasonable prices. Our water was never refilled and it took a considerable amount of time to get our bill but the food is worth the visit! We will absolutely be back. ”
